Data collection directly at the accident site
The VUFO team records and analyses around 1,000 road accidents with personal injury in the greater Dresden area every year as part of the GIDAS accident research project. Traditional accident recording is constantly being supplemented by modern data collection methods in order to obtain valid data to further increase the safety of road users. Road safety to be available.
Data analysis and road safety
The data analysts at VUFO carry out studies and analyses based on national and international data, mainly focusing on vehicle and road safety. The results are then incorporated into legislation, guidelines, further developments of the Vehicle safety (e.g. driver assistance functions, automated driving) or prevention measures.

The scenarios available to us are suitable for evaluating and validating driver assistance systems and automated driving functions, among other things, and are based on real accident situations that are stored in databases in a structured manner. These simulated scenarios are converted into simulation formats using special processes
Data processing of real accident scenarios
With the help of accident simulations, our experts carry out detailed studies on the pre-collision accident phase.
