In this basic course, VUFO provides interested participants with our expert knowledge on accident data collection, specific aspects and tasks of an expert witness, theoretical principles and practical accident reconstruction in 3 sub-modules.
Module 1: Accident recording, special aspects and expert activities
Appointment: 02. – 05. April 2025
The aim of this part is to provide basic knowledge about accident recording. In addition, special aspects are covered that are necessary for further handling of the data collected.
Module 2: Theoretical foundations
Appointment: 07. – 10. May 2025
The aim of this part is to present the theoretical principles of accident analysis. Participants are taught about driving physics and movement behavior. In addition, content on lane science and theoretical accident reconstruction will be covered. The course concludes with an introduction to biomechanical principles.
Module 3: Practical reconstruction
Appointment: 21. – 24. May 2025
The aim of this part is to impart practical reconstruction skills. Participants are encouraged to reconstruct example cases with appropriate assistance.
