VUFO attaches great importance to further education and studies

The topic of education is very important to the VUFO, especially with regard to accident data collection and vehicle and road safety. In order to analyse traffic accidents or to derive measures which can prevent accidents, basic and advanced training in this area is indispensable. We therefore see ourselves not only as a research institute, but also as an educational institution.

Our range of training courses includes above all accident analysis training courses.

Currently divided into three modules, this course is aimed at interested persons who have basic knowledge in the field of accident analysis or recording. The main focus of the training is the transfer of practical experience at the accident site, during accident reconstruction or in handling electronic data. The modules are therefore ideally suited for groups of people who record accidents.

Furthermore, as part of our advanced training, we offer the Master's programme "Traffic Accident Research and Vehicle Safety" in cooperation with the DIU.

With the four-semester course "Traffic Accident Research and Vehicle Safety" VUFO offers a postgraduate specialisation for engineers. In addition to imparting theoretical knowledge, the company focuses above all on practical training.

Master's degree programme

VUFO’s four-semester master’s degree programme in collaboration with Dresden International University offers engineers the chance to specialise in the field of “Traffic Accident Research and Vehicle Safety“. This modular programme is ideally suited for part-time study whilst continuing to work, since it consists of distance learning elements with occasional classroom-based teaching.
