Traffic Accident and Scenario Community

What we are working on with the TASC dataset

On the one hand, the TASC dataset contains several thousand Basic simulation files. These represent real accident data from Saxony, which are based on data from police accident surveys.

In addition, scientifically sound methods and variation approaches based on GIDAS data are used to create further data sets from these basic data sets. Variation simulation files.

Map with colour-coded dots representing traffic or accident clusters, with a large magnifying glass in the foreground that enlarges part of the map.
Dashboard with various diagrams and a visualisation of traffic data, including a heat map, pie charts, bar charts and a road map visualisation.

Trajectory display in the real-time map (focus on some nodes)

Since 2022, not only Accident data hosted in the TASC platform, but also Data from Traffic observations. This survey approach offers the possibility of capture tens of thousands of real-life traffic scenarios within a short space of timewhereby the subsequent criticality assessment is a Separation into normal, critical and highly critical scenarios permitted.

TASC Dashboard

The dashboard developed in 2021 offers Authorised users can preselect simulation files and perform user-specific accident analyses within the entire TASC data set. The following figure shows some example diagrams of the dashboard.

Selected statistics are displayed in the dashboard.Accident categories, constellations, types, day and time distribution, location of accidents)

Dashboard with various diagrams and maps for analysing traffic accident data, including total number of accidents, accident severity, accident types, accident times and geographical distribution.
